Old Door Hook Hanger

Hey Ya'll ! It's been awhile since my last post but I am determined to more active with sharing what I have been up to this year. First up is a entrance hook hanger made from a piece of an old door.

Can you see all that chippy goodness? This was the top half of an old door that I got from a flea market.
I turned the door horizontal and added 2 banister pieces with old roofing nails. This gave the door more support.

The middle was a little to plain for me so I added a "Blessing" sign that I had.

A few hooks on the bottom and this project was complete.

I love how this turned out and it was really simple to complete.

I did add a hanger to the back of the door.

Just a few more pictures.

The best part is how quickly this SOLD at Vintage Living Marketplace.
It went to a new home the first day I had it at the shop!

Until next time.

Thanks for stopping by,

  1. Sigh, love the chippy look of your piece of door. I save old nails too for making repairs on old stuff. Great sign, great idea. Visiting from Donna's Funky Junk.

  2. I would never have thought this to be a chunk from a door! So clever, and beautiful!

I've featured you this weekend on DIY Salvaged Junk 367. Thanks for linking up!

    1. Thanks so much Donna, you are always so kind and much of my inspiration has come from you and all your projects. Keep On Junkin!!

I would love to hear from you, Thank you for leaving a comment.
