Vintage Garden Potting Bench

I'm so exciting to share our newest potting bench today. It was made from two old table pieces, one metal and one wood. For the back we used a semi- old window that had a few broken panes of glass. We knocked the glass out and replaced with chicken-wire.

The white metal was the frame from a table. Mike welded pieces to the sides to mimic the window look.

The top piece was a table top that had tile which we previously removed. We replaced it with reclaimed fence pieces.

A few hooks on the side for hanging.

A bottom shelf made from more reclaimed fencing.

And a few clothespins on the chicken-wire to keep things handy.

I am always looking for old garden tools when we are at flea markets or thrifting. Last weekend we found a few old all metal pieces.

I 've got a pretty good collection going of old garden tools and love the way they look on the potting benches. The red rake heads we also flea market finds.

A few flowers placed around the bench to help decorate it.

My favorite recent find was a little red tool box. It is perfect to hold the garden tools.

This is probably my favorite bench so far.

Thanks for stopping by,
