Little Ole Ladder With Jar Flowers

Well it's been awhile since my last post but things have been busy around here. Spring sports are in full swing and I've made a few trips to North Carolina recently. Once again I have so many projects started but it's finally settling down and time to complete a few.

First up is this little old piece of a wooden ladder that was found curbside. Most of the wood was rotten but I did manage to salvage a few of the steps.

I added a piece of old fencing to the top to create another step and complete the top.

I bought a few of these blue jars at Target but changed the tops to just jar rings that were spray painted a flat black. The inlay was painted with chalkboard paint.

I wrapped some wire around the top of the jar and then twisted some to create a handle. Then a piece of rusty flat stock was added to the back of the ladder for hanging.
The jars can be hung many different ways.

This simple little ole ladder can be decorated with the change of seasons but I love it now with bright sunny flowers. There is also still room for more jars if you wanted.

Hoping everyone is having a Happy Spring.

Thanks for stopping by,
