Old Drawer Storage Ottoman

Hoping you week has been going well, Happy Halloween!!

I'm not much of a crafter so the Halloween decorations just don't happen around here. But I do love to remake and re-purpose items, especially the ones found at the curb.

When I found a nightstand recently the bottom drawer track was broken so I replaced it with a solid piece of wood. You can see the full makeover HERE. The drawer that was there has now been remade into a cute storage ottoman.

This was the drawer before. Very deep and perfect for storage.

I cut a piece of plywood to fit as a top. Added some foam and wrapped  in Paris fabric from Hobby Lobby.

The drawer was originally painted grey with a pink stripe but when I attached the top I didn't like the way it looked especially when I added the legs.

So I repainted the drawer in blank and sanded so now the grey looks somewhat metallic in color and matches the legs and the knobs. I used Rustoleum Metallic Spray paint on the legs and re-did the stripe also.

The top was just attached with hinges and the inside of the drawer was painted black as well.

The fabric also had a little sparkle with pink and grey Eiffel Towers.

Just a few more pictures to share.

This turned out to be a cute storage ottoman perfect for a little girl.

Thanks for stopping by,
