Wine Down Wednesday

With less then a week to go before the big day, let's take a little time to relax. I have the perfect spot.

This is a little sign created from three scrap boards. I just rough painted the bottom two and stained the top one. Painted on the lettering and after a few screws to hold together I wrapped the ends with twine to add a little something and create a way to hang.

It goes perfect with my pallet wine bottle bar.

This was originally stained really dark and I didn't like it. I sanded it down a bit then applied a off - white paint, let it dry and re-sanded. Now it is awesome!! It looks a little antique.

This pallet was easy to just cut in half and add a bottom for the bottles to sit on. I also removed a few of the boards from the back.

I added another sign to the front of it and it will hold eight bottles of wine.

If you notice all are empty and for display, except one!! I guess you can call it a bottle holder too!!

Time to head to the store to stock up for the holidays!!
Happy Hump Day!!

SUSAN

This one is an updated version with some metal added.

  14. This is so cute! We have a full bar in our basement - our ceiling is made from a tin roof and the walls are lined in old barn wood. This would be PERFECT for our walls to hold wine bottles! Great idea!
